System Settings Overview

System Settings contains platform administration pages used exclusively by system administrators. These pages control cross-tenant infrastructure, service registration, global AI pricing, and platform observability. Access is restricted to trusted operators with system administrator privileges and is not visible to tenant users.

Micro-Services page

  • Menu Path: Settings → System
  • Primary audience: System administrators only. Requires login at system.portal.net or equivalent system tenant access.
  • Create and manage tenant records and their lifecycle state from Tenants.
  • Register, update, and maintain microservice entries — including menus, remotes, dashboards, and event metadata — via Micro-Services.
  • Manage platform-level API keys for service-to-service communication with Service API Keys.
  • Configure system AI provider credentials used as the global fallback for all tenants.
  • Review per-tenant and platform-wide billing, storage, and capability metadata.
  • Maintain global AI model pricing used for cost calculations across all tenants.
  • Run index rebuilds and other maintenance tasks with Search Utilities.

  3. Use Micro-Services after deploying a new service to register its menus and event subscriptions.
  4. Open AI Model Pricing when a provider updates its token costs to keep billing calculations accurate.
  5. Run Search Utilities after a bulk data migration to rebuild search indexes across affected tenants.
  • This entire sub-module is visible only in user sessions with system administrator privileges.
  • Some pages are hidden in single-tenant deployment mode.
  • Changes made here affect all tenants on the platform — use system pages only for platform administration, not tenant daily operations.
  • Confirm tenant and service scope before saving changes, as mistakes can impact all users across the platform.
