Business Partners
The Business Partners module is the central hub for managing all relationships with customers, vendors, leads, and partners. It provides tools for organizing, categorizing, and controlling access to business partner data across your organization.
Platform Capabilities
Section titled “Platform Capabilities”- Technical Summary — High-level overview of shared platform behaviors used in this module.

Partners
Section titled “Partners”Manage the core business partner records:
- Business Partners List — View, search, filter, and manage all business partners.
- Create Business Partner — Add new customers, vendors, or leads using a guided wizard.
- Business Partner Detail — View comprehensive information including contacts, addresses, tax info, and financial data.
- Edit Business Partner — Update existing partner information.
- Account Statement — Review transaction history and balances.
Contacts
Section titled “Contacts”Manage contact persons associated with business partners:
- Contacts List — Browse and search all contacts.
- Contact Detail — View individual contact information.
Groups
Section titled “Groups”Organize business partners into categorized groups:
- Groups List — Manage categorization groups.
- Group Detail — View group members and manage assignments.
Teams & Regions
Section titled “Teams & Regions”Set up organizational hierarchy and manage geographic territories:
- Teams List — Manage region teams and their structure.
- Team Detail — Assign members and configure region coverage.
- Regions — Manage sales territories and geographic regions.
Payment Terms
Section titled “Payment Terms”Define payment conditions used across sales and purchase documents:
- Payment Terms — Configure terms like Net 30, Net 60, Cash on Delivery, etc.
BP Settings
Section titled “BP Settings”Configure module-wide defaults and access control. The settings page is organized into three tabs:
Scope Tab
Section titled “Scope Tab”Configures scope-based access control — restricting which business partners users can see and edit based on team and region assignments.
Four configuration cards:
- Enforcement Mode — Radio group with three options: Off, Soft, Enforced
- Unassigned Business Partners — How to handle BPs with no region assignment
- Admin Override — Toggle to let admins bypass scope restrictions
- Leader Permissions — Toggle to let team leaders edit child team regions

Countries Tab
Section titled “Countries Tab”Controls which countries appear in address forms and sets a default country.
Two configuration cards:
- Allowed Countries — Multi-select list with add/remove and badge display
- Default Country — Dropdown pre-filtered to allowed countries

Commercial Defaults Tab
Section titled “Commercial Defaults Tab”Sets default payment terms for sales and purchase documents when a business partner has none configured.

- Default Sales Payment Terms — Payment terms dropdown for sales documents
- Default Purchase Payment Terms — Payment terms dropdown for purchase documents
