Business Partners

The Business Partners module is the central hub for managing all relationships with customers, vendors, leads, and partners. It provides tools for organizing, categorizing, and controlling access to business partner data across your organization.

Set up organizational hierarchy and manage geographic territories:

  • Teams List — Manage region teams and their structure.
  • Team Detail — Assign members and configure region coverage.
  • Regions — Manage sales territories and geographic regions.

Define payment conditions used across sales and purchase documents:

  • Payment Terms — Configure terms like Net 30, Net 60, Cash on Delivery, etc.

Configure module-wide defaults and access control. The settings page is organized into three tabs:

Configures scope-based access control — restricting which business partners users can see and edit based on team and region assignments.

Four configuration cards:

  1. Enforcement Mode — Radio group with three options: Off, Soft, Enforced
  2. Unassigned Business Partners — How to handle BPs with no region assignment
  3. Admin Override — Toggle to let admins bypass scope restrictions
  4. Leader Permissions — Toggle to let team leaders edit child team regions
